About April
April Lindsey is a voice coach, singer, choir consultant, and piano instructor from Los Angeles, CA. Being both a singer and a voice coach, she understands what it takes to become a strong, well-rounded singer. April created a voice training system called “Let The Voice Out,” to help singers at every level, beginning to professional, every style of music and all ages become more powerful, confident performers. She is a soon to be published author with the release of her first book, which details her strategy to conquer singers’ struggles by overcoming the fear of singing and getting out of your head to have successful vocal technique and gain confident performance skills.
Co-owner of Bella Music Studios in Covina, she produces two showcases a year for her students and provides other opportunities for singers to perform in front of an audience with professional lights and sound. April graduated from Azusa Pacific University where she studied Vocal Performance. She continues to teach private voice sessions.
April grew up singing in church and learned to combine passionate gospel styles with disciplines of classical music. It is this powerful blend that made her an in-demand studio singer as she sang on many pop, contemporary, Jazz and dance records. She consults with gospel choirs, community choirs and show choirs to improve both group and individual vocal technique. April created the “Making of an Artist” Workshop to help up-and-coming recording artists achieve their goals in the music industry. April is signed to Del Oro Music, and her current single “Lose Control” is playing on radio stations and in clubs all across the US.
